H-e-B, the grocery chain, is set to sell its superfoods to consumers, as it faces rising demand for healthy snacks.
The company said its first batch of the superfood, “Superfood X,” will go on sale on November 2.
It is currently available in India, Singapore, the US, and other countries.
The sale will mark H-eleb’s biggest acquisition in the past three years, with sales expected to surpass $4 billion in 2019.
The brand will also add a new superfood to its product line-up in 2019, called “Sushi.”
The company is also working on an “immersive experience” for consumers to be able to choose the right foods and beverages, according to a press release from the company.
“We’ve been building the brand to enable people to discover, interact and create in the digital age, and we’re excited to share this with our customers,” said H-Eleb CEO and founder, Jim Hall, in a statement.
H-elec is also expanding its food range, including the Superfood range, which includes rice and beans, as well as chicken and fish.
“We want to provide the world with the best food choices in the best way possible, including our signature superfood brands, while supporting our employees and families with nutritious meals,” said Hall.
The launch of Superfood X marks the latest foray for the superstore, which already sells about 10 million servings of food products annually.
It also will be the first time a brand has been sold on a food product line for the first times.
While there are a variety of superfood offerings, the company’s latest offerings are focused on healthier, healthier foods that are packed with vitamins and minerals.
The launch comes after it said it is targeting 100 million people who consume at least one superfood each year.
According to a report from Bloomberg, H-earth is investing $2.5 billion in its food business over the next three years to increase its sales and revenue to $3 billion by 2022.
It also said it would expand its food product range by introducing a new range of healthy food products.
“Our vision for the future of our business is to be the leader in healthy food and healthy living,” Hall said.
