Hello Everyone,As I am writing this, I am so very happy that I will be able to share my story with the world.
On February 14, 2016, I was in Tokyo, Japan for the Asian Games in the Tokyo Dome.
I was one of the very few girls to be part of a delegation that flew in from Korea to represent the Korean community at the Games.
As a representative for the K-pop industry, I felt very honored and proud that the Games represented my country in such a great way.
However, the following morning, I woke up to the news that the Asian games had been cancelled.
That was the moment that I lost all of my confidence in the Kpop scene.
At that time, I wasn’t sure how the Korean government would react to my participation in the Games, and I couldn’t be sure if my career would take off in Japan.
Thankfully, I got the chance to speak with the Head of the Korean National Olympic Committee, Kim Yoo Sang.
She told me that they had asked for my input and they wanted me to give a speech to the Korean people that day.
After my speech, she gave me a very warm hug and she asked me if I would be able as a representative.
It was such a relief to be able speak with her again and to be allowed to give the Korean nation their pride and their confidence.
But the following day, I learned that the games had not been cancelled, and that the Korean delegation would fly back to Seoul.
Although I was relieved that I would not be able a full time job, I didn’t want to let this happen to the girls in the delegation who were hoping to make a name for themselves in the sports industry.
During the first day of the Games in Korea, I had the chance of being in the same room with all of the athletes and the Korean coaches.
When the teams arrived at the stadium, I could hear the cheers and the cheers of the people of Korea.
There was so much joy and I felt so blessed to be a part of it.
The next day, the Korean team flew back to Tokyo, and we all went back to our hotel.
By the time we got back to the hotel, I realized that I didn,t have the confidence in myself to be representing the Korean K-Pop industry.
I didn’t know how many people I would meet during the Games and I was so overwhelmed by the number of people that I could meet and talk to.
Everyone I met, I would have felt so honored if I was able to talk to them all.
My friends, the people who helped me and supported me in my career, they were all so wonderful and so wonderful.
And when I think about all of those people that made me want to be an athlete, I couldn,t imagine how they were going to react to me speaking to them.
They had no idea what I was capable of, and it was such an honor to be the representative for a nation.
Now, as a person who has had a dream of representing the Kootenay K-Girls, I hope that the world can know how proud I am of being able to represent my country.
